Toolmivo is a collection of browser-based online utilities. Where an individual tool states that files or entered content are processed locally in your browser, that content is not intentionally uploaded to Toolmivo's server for the tool to perform that task.
2. Information we may process
Information used in tools
Different tools handle different types of content. Many Toolmivo tools are designed to work locally in your browser. The information shown on each tool page should be treated as the description of how that specific tool handles the content you provide.
Basic site statistics
Toolmivo uses its own first-party statistics system to count page views, repeat views and approximate unique visitors. The system may use a first-party visitor identifier named toolmivo_vid. Toolmivo's analytics database stores a one-way HMAC/SHA-256-derived visitor hash rather than the raw visitor identifier.
If that cookie is unavailable, the statistics system may create a one-way visitor hash from technical request information such as the IP address and browser user-agent. Raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in Toolmivo's analytics tables.
Browser storage
Toolmivo may use browser storage to remember your selected language and your privacy/cookie choices. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy.
Messages you send us
If you contact Toolmivo, we may process the information you include in your message, such as your email address, name and the content of your enquiry, so that we can respond.
Technical and security information
Web hosting, security and server infrastructure may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamps and error information for delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
3. Why we use information
We may process information to:
- provide and operate Toolmivo and its tools;
- remember interface choices such as language;
- measure basic site usage and understand which pages are useful;
- keep the website secure and diagnose technical problems;
- respond to messages and support requests;
- display and measure advertising or use optional analytics where you have given the required consent;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the context and the law that applies, processing may be based on:
- legitimate interests, such as operating, securing and improving Toolmivo;

6. Sharing information

- hosting, infrastructure and security providers;
- analytics or advertising providers when those services are enabled;
- professional advisers or authorities where required by law;
- a successor operator if Toolmivo or relevant assets are transferred.
Toolmivo does not sell your personal information as a data-broker service.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or the country where you live. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will rely on an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or another permitted basis.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, statistics, legal and operational needs. Cookie-consent choices stored by Toolmivo are normally set to expire after 180 days. Your language preference may remain in browser storage until you change it or clear site data.
Retention periods used by third-party providers are governed by the configuration of those services and their own policies.
9. Your data protection rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and the right to withdraw consent. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

10. Children
Toolmivo is a general-purpose utility website and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, contact us.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the website and the information we control. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Toolmivo changes, when new tools or providers are added, or when legal requirements change. The current revision date is shown at the top of this page.
